Suspected Tamil Tigers caged.

Police checking for links to Tigers, paramilitary, crimes against humanity.

More than three dozen Tamil migrants have been segregated from 492 others who arrived by boat for questioning by police on suspicion of being linked to the Tamil Tigers, or other inadmissible groups, including war criminals.

Those held in “segregation” at Fraser Regional Correctional Centre, in B.C., include the skipper of the MV Sun Sea, Kamalraj Kandasamy, a.k.a “Captain Vinod,” his 24-man crew and about a dozen migrants who arrived Aug. 13 off the coast of B.C. after a 90-day trip from Thailand.

I got caught on Gardiner last year on Mother's day when Tamils blocked it. I was royally pissed off! And now we will accept them in the name of humanity? I know a guy from Europe who got hired on a work permit by a Canadian company for his extraordinary professional skills. He spent years traveling from place to place for business, pays taxes, respects the law, doesn't even communicate to his compatriots, says they suck. He embraced Canada as his home country and cares more about it than 5th generation Canadians. You know what? It took him 4 years to get permanent immigrant status and additional 4 years for Canadian citizenship. And these guys will get accommodation, money, education, everything for free. Where the fuck is justice here? :grrrrrr:
