Thing is, that we could...especially with the government we have. I just want to give everyone ammo to fight it. At this point in the struggle to recognise sex work as a legitimate career choice, it's important we all get involved, providers and clients alike.

This can of worms should have never been opened in my opinion. Things were running along smoothly. The ladies were making money and the clients were being satisfied. I believe, especially if Harper wins another majority it's going to be worse than the Swedish model here.​

We'll disagree about the can of worms, mainly because I have dear friends in the industry who I don't want to see brutalised or killed, but I am not here to impose my sense of empathy on you. Futhermore, this has happened, accept it, see what can be done henceforth. It's up to you to give up or find a solution to enjoy the life you've had up to now.

As for people CANNOT get involved, you're wrong. People are UNWILLING to get involved, due to fear, social status, or whatnot, but all it takes is a little imagination. You have the anonymity of the internet, the discreet donation to the organization willing to be vocal, blogging, twitter, polls, and careful verbal positioning.

I do admire your passion and do understand where you and the people who started this are coming from but I know from working for many years in an executive branch of a union how difficult the struggle is. Unions do not have anything to hide but without public support we are fighting an up hill battle as of late. If the majority of the public is against prostitution it will be a big uphill battle and easy pickings for the Conservatives. I hope you're right and I'm off the mark on this one, I really do.

It's a very true statement you wrote T but lets face it with most of society it's looked down upon. I don't agree with that opinion for obvious reasons but it is what it is and unless we could change attitudes as to what I believe DB eluded to, it will be a huge struggle/battle.
