I had a car accident recently, when the engine of my car failed with little warning. Initially, I thought I was OK, but it turns out that I have some rehabilitation to do. The accident was unexpected, and unavoidable (the steering wheel locked up on me, when the engine went out). My subsequent medical work up, required a whole new, and extensive, battery of medical tests/exams..which showed that I could benefit from some whole body maintenance....nothing serious, but all still very reasonable....so now I have a personal trainer, in addition to my rehabilitation. I hope to come back, in several months, buff and reinvigorated. I WILL be fine, in point of fact, it is extremely likely that I will be substantially better than I am now, since I have, generally speaking, been extremely health conscious for most of my life. The decision to take a break from the boards, is largely to replace the time factor that I have spent here, and replace it with more exercise (and rehabilitation).
All the best, Doc

All the best, you're making a good move and putting the focus on rehabilitation.

Good move, dude. I hope you have a speedy recovery and a fun and healthy summer! You only get so much time in a day, good to see you've decided to use it wisely.

All the best, speedy recovery and not to worry the gym does have some lovely ladies to help make the grunting and sweating a little easier to take.

Knowing your priorities is sharp dude. Take care of yourself see you when you get better. Well not really as I never see you, believe you are in invisible mode .

Wishing you a full and speedy recovery Doc., take care and see you when you are good and ready. Cheers!

Not sure there is any point in wishing you a speedy recovery if you are off the boards which is our only source of communication with you - but best wishes nonetheless
