For those of you wondering how you can quote a message with a person's name quoted inside it, watch this little clip (you might want to expand the browser out to full screen):

Thanks for posting this really easy way to do this, a picture is worth a thousands words, and now I know.

Hey, no problem, but I was hoping you guys would've seen it sooner, as I put it up originally for you guys after you had already joined. But I guess as they say, better nine months later than never. :LMAO:

Let's hope Eddie and Antoine see it before their nine months are up. :wink2:

Okay: Eddie401, Antoine, and Sixto. I'm re-bumping this thread for you guys, so you know how to quote properly. This isn't quite the full-featured version of this forum, it's a private group, so we don't get the same level of automation that the main board forums do. One of the things that has to be done manually here is quoting. Watch the animation in the first message, and watch it a couple of times if you need to know how you can quote messages properly.

Testing this, thanks!

This board/group has a lot of technical bugs. I had to respond to the Eva European thread multiple times, as I got booted the first time, and my response was deleted. This isn't the first time its happened to me when responding in threads. Does anyone else have this problem? Sometimes it sends me to a recapture page as well to authenticate I am human and then boots me from there...Sigh.

That happened once to me a week or two ago. At the time I though possibly I had a word or phrase that was censored. I forget what it was about but it only happened once so I didn't pay much attention to it. It's not like what I have to say is particularly important, you guys have noticed by now I just like to see my name on the internet :writing:. There are some quirks here but we get what we pay for ..... overall it is good enough for what we do.

Yeah, I've been having that problem recently too. It usually happens when I'm trying to re-edit a message that I've written, and it tells me that I need to add more letters to my edit. I'll ask about it in the moderators forum.

Okay, the moderators know about the glitch, and there still isn't a fix for it, but they suggested using a workaround. They suggest that when you get that recaptcha glitch, just click the "X" button to dismiss the dialog box, and then click on "Go Advanced" and edit and save it from there.

Just to let you know, there is an easier way to quote messages if you have the Firefox web browser. There is an extension for Firefox called BBCodeXtra, which automates the task of quoting quotes, and other common tasks on a bulletin board like this (it'll work here, as well as in Terb, and in Cerb too). I'm not sure if there is a similar add-on for the Chrome web browser too, but if you're still using Internet Explorer, then you're beyond help. :banghead:

Well, welcome HUBGFESup, or Urban Cowboy as we also know ye. You can check out this thread to learn how to quote messages in this thread!
