You are worthless if you sit around making fancy poetic videos about the problems and blaming others rather than getting off your ass and finding a way to make money. College degrees and internships aren't required to make a good living or to even get a job. People throughout history have found ways to succeed. Someone becoming rich doesn't stop you from becoming rich. It's all about the right idea, at the right time and then busting your ass to make it happen. All of this whining about a lack of opportunity out there. Look at all of the people out there who've become millionaires and look at all of the millionaires who've lost everything.
And your work is worthless if someone doesn't need it. Look at what McDonalds is talking about doing with the $15/hr minimum wage talk.....looking at putting in automated order takers. Yeah....if you ask for $1 million/year to mow the lawn, you probably know you're not going to get that job. Those jobs go to people who have very special skills. If you have a skill that everyone with a pulse has, you're not going to get rich because someone else will be willing to sell that skill for less. This is where you should be complaining about all the cheap labor sneaking across the southern border of the US.
This liberal idea that someone owes you something is so against what I learned growing up. If you want something, you have to go out and work for it. The idea that everyone should have equal outcomes is ridiculous as no two people are the same and have the same experiences. You could give everyone in the world a plot of land just like everyone else's.....in time, some would be successfully living and others would have failed and starved to death. Some of it is genetic and some of it is just circumstances. But that is real life.
