Drum roll please.......and the type of envelope is........?
There are posts made from time to time instructing gentlemen on payment etiquette, how to present your escort with her gift/donation/payment. Some escorts/companions are very fussy as to how it is presented to them, they require it in an unsealed envelope of some sort, or a gift bag, card, or some such thing, this is a matter of discretion, I understand. My feelings have always been fairly relaxed about the whole procedure, if the gentlemen doesn't present me with the donation shortly after we've greeted one another, I ask and don't require an envelope or other packaging, cash in hand is fine. I count it right away, and in front of him, to assure us both everything is fine and to get the business out of the way so then we can carry on with the important stuff. Your thoughts?

I always present/leave it on the night table or dresser as soon as possible. Never handing it to her in her hand.

Don't you think counting it in front of the client is a little off putting? I understand you want to make sure it's all there and if there's a discrepancy, the both of you can settle it then.

I assume while I'm in the shower, the money is counted and then hidden away. My regulars don't even ask and just put the money away. A tip is given in the form of a gift, but if I come empty handed, I apologize and tell them there's a little extra in the envelope.

I would normally hand it at the beginning and prefer the lady counts it in front as Cristy does because of one time I was told I was 20 short and I knew for a fact I wasn't.......

I handed the young lady the donation which I counted 3 times on my way up to the incall. Once I came out of the shower I'm told I was 20 shy. I wasn't going to argue and ruin the session for $20 so I reached into my pocket and handed her another $20 and even apologized although scratching my head. Later I find out from others that she did this regularly. She probably pulled in an extra 100 to 120 bucks a day.

^ How any of us do as we do is often determined by previous experiences. I will say, I do find some formalities silly.....and no I don't find being handed cash off putting. A companion/client relationship is a paid one, so being paid isn't a dirty thing to me, nor is cash, it is king and I'm apparently not fussy as to how it is given to me, and I like to be sure all is fair and square from the start.
There are men I trust, and I will never have to count the money in front of them or behind their backs. Yet I've been accused of not being honest, and I've also been shorted. So unless you are one of those I truly trust, I count it in front of you, that way I can't be accused of duping you or you of duping me......But like much of what goes on in this industry, it'll be critiqued and some will like and some won't:)

I used to be in the habit of giving the money at the end of the session and I would openly count in front of the lady. But recently, I've begun giving the money at the beginning before I shower. I still count openly though.

Depends on how many times Ive seen the lady if Im a regular then its never an issue to pay at the end and a tip is always a nice surprise. However if its a new lady I always pay up front not including the tip. If Im at a hotel and the lady arrives I tell her everything she needs is in the bedroom. That gives her time to count the money and get ready for play.

Cash on the table or in her hand is saving an envelope and better for the environment.

My first two times I forgot to give the $ first and had to be reminded.
I have used an envelope, enclosed it with a card but most often it is cash on the table which usually disapears while I get ready. I have never witnessed the lady I see regularly count the money and it would not bother me if she did.
I tip at the end if warranted and am prepared with a different denomination bill in each pocket, the pocket I chose depends on the service I receive. Twice I have not tipped, and not returned for a second visit.

I always get it out of the way first thing and drop it on the first dresser I find. I find this way the lady is more comfortable not having to be in the position to have to ask for it.

Funny, I was under the impression that the ladies were paying you.:)

I do not mind if there is an envelope or not,the first meeting I expect the donation to be prepared and visible but I do not take it at the beginning and do not count either but be assured I will eventually count it and remember if you short change me...Once is fine mistake happens especially with the slippery bills we have now but I used to have a regular (soon to be ex) who was missing 20$ at the last three meetings,I stopped seeing him...

I explained before why I do not like having the money handed hand to hand as It happened a few times, again with regulars who became exes, that they would give it to me at the end,the end is fine
once I met you before, but they would kind of hold on to it a bit too long,a little tug of war if you may and it is only after a few times I caught the meaning:they were hoping I would tell them to forget it as ''we are so nice together..."" sigh

Just don't make her have to ask for it, sadly I, and other sp's I have talked to have been ripped off by multi repeat or regular clients so it's not always new clients that try to short sp's.

Most sp's don't want to discuss the donation in front of you, so try to have the exact amount pre counted and ready to go. It's also not a bad idea if you think you might extend, to have the additional donation counted out.

Its funny over the years...lets say 20 for round numbers i haves always given to a new lady the donation up front. I found envelopes to be awkward. Used to keep them in the glove box of my car. Usually like most just left it on the night stand. I tend to see ladies repeatedly and we get to know each other so I drop it at the end of the session as sometimes it kills the mood.

Lately however it seems as if everyone is asking for the donation up front. I don't really care but you would think if you were booking weekly or say twice every 10 days that the bookers would say..."hey you got a regular coming up your all good."

I am surprised by those who say they paid or have paid at the end....but whatever works. For me, it's just preferred to get the "business" out of the way and since sometimes there is rushing at the end and as has happened, things are forgotten, glasses, phones, etc, etc, so money, if left to the end, could be as well.

For incalls, I get it out of the way immediately, new or repeat. I just discretely leave it on the night table or dresser or desk in the hotel while distracting the transaction with conversation. Poof, it's gone when I come out of the shower.

For outcalls, I leave it in an envelope in my front entrance bench where she would sit and take her shoes off. For the new ones, I point it out and say "That's for you" and she stuffs it in her purse and when she excuses herself to the washroom, I know she's counting it. For the repeat outcalls, they never count and leave without looking at it twice; the repeats usually find a little extra.
