Gotta love that last question about the CPL holder possibly facing charges. There's a whole new business out there of groups offering insurance to legal gun owners. Basically, they say that someone defending themselves is as likely as the criminal of being arrested. They are supposedly there to get you a lawyer and get you out of the situation as quickly as possible.
What is wrong with the world where someone tries to rob/hurt someone else who is minding their own business and the citizen is the one who's vilified and the criminal "needs to be understood". Everything is backwards these days.
