How does a good Kitchener boy know about Hooker Harvey's

LOL! I wasn't always from K-W... (and Mrs. CG might dispute the "good" part... LOL :shock

Truth is, I worked downtown TO for almost 4 years from 1989-1993. A buddy of mine lived in the condos about 1/2 block from Hooker Harvey's. He got a parking spot included with his condo, but didn't have a car, so he let me use it for free. Walked by Hooker Harveys twice a day on my way to and from where I worked. On nights I stayed late- or stopped at the bud's for a few brews, I saw that scene over and over again...

Dude, don't fall into Bardot's trap: those are HER words, not mine. I don't think I EVER used the term WIDE LOAD (except of course, if she was in fact a WIDE LOAD which there have been!).

I used the term, "wide glide" which is what a highway Harley Davidson is called because it is softer and more comfortable than a sportster. Totally different animal than a wide load. A wide load is one of those big construction trailers or ?? that demand a police escort and take up 1 1/2 or more lanes on the highway.......
