I've been to Las Vegas a few times by myself and had some interesting conversations with some of these ladies after midnight at the casinos. I was well aware of the possible "dangers" so I didn't partake. As they're walking by or just sitting there they give you an unmistakable "look". They're often found in small bar/lounges or at a $.25 slot machine playing one spin at a time very slowly as they look out for potential clients. They're all over the streets as well.

I think that Vegas in much more interesting in the wee hours personally. Being on east coast time and up very early anyways, I'm coffeed-out, showered and ready to go by about 2am or so.
