A Brazilian grandmother and her five-year-old grandson have become famous after footage of them surviving a serious car crash was played out on national TV. Amazingly, neither was seriously hurt. The incident was captured on CCTV and shows the horrific accident as it unfolds. A Chevrolet sedan spun out of control and violently rammed into a parked car which was then sent flying towards Vilma Teodoro do Nascimento and her grandson Joao Pedro as they were walking by.

Despite being knocked over and hit by the spinning car, whose wheels came close to Joao's head, both the boy and his grandmother amazingly survived without any serious injuries. They were treated for minor grazes at a local hospital and were discharged the following day. Footage of the accident and miraculous survival has been viewed tens of thousands of times online.

I never get the point of how these survival incidents has anything to do with existence of GOD? How about thousands of incidents a day that the innocent victims do not survive, are injured or killed; does it prove anything? Where is GOD in those incidents? Busy with ones whom he is saving? Why miracles for some and not for others? GOD loves them more? Or only GOD knows the answer so we better shut down our brains and just accept it as it is?
...come on, use some logic here; it's just the matter of probability.

A deity isn't the only option. You could try things like reason, science, probability, luck, chaos theory....there are lots of things other than a "god" that could have led to these people coming through this incident unscathed. I tend to go with luck of the draw...
