Just realized I haven't seen any commentary here.

It's got 9.8 million hits (at this moment) since being posted Saturday.

It was 1.5 million when I first looked at it Monday evening, 3 million shortly after midnight, 6.6 million by 8 a.m. Tuesday, and 8.7 million just before lunch today.

Bet she wishes she had a nickle for every time somebody clicked on that video. She'd already be close to half a million bucks richer than she was last week.

(And of course, I'd be 25 cents poorer.)

The worker who quit her job by making a video of herself dancing became an online sensation - but her old boss has hit back.
Making their own version of Marina Shifrin's viral video, her former colleagues at Next Media Animation have cashed in on her success.

Set to Kanye West track Gone, the team dance in the same areas of the office that Marina did, with both freestyle moves and coordinated choreography involving the whole office.
They wished Marina good luck, and added that they were hiring to replace her.

They also boast that the office has a rooftop swimming pool and that employees can pretend to shoot their boss and he’ll play dead.
Not all of the 2 million people who watched the video were impressed. One commented: "You are a stupid company. You stole her idea that makes you have no sense of originality. This makes your company seem like a horrible company."

But another was impressed: "I agree a retort was in order, and you did add new creative elements, so I reckon the score is even."

Marina quit her job as video producer at the Taiwanese company - famous for making animated reconstructions of real-life events - claiming that her bosses only "cared about views and not content".

The 25-year-old has since added on her blog that she does not feel bitter about the company. "My boss is a brilliant writer. My respect for him is boundless.

"He is a journalist who has become a successful and wealthy businessman. As a businessman it is his main objective to make revenue."

Viral “I Quit” video star Marina Shifrin is already being recruited. On Thursday, just five days after her interpretive-dance YouTube resignation, set to Kanye West’s “Gone,” made her a working-woman’s hero, Shifrin appeared as a guest on the Queen Latifah Show, saying she had no regrets. “Sometimes I think that you need to forcefully close one door in order for another one to open a little easier,” the former video producer for Next Media Animation told Latifah.

The talk show host then shocked her guest by offering her a job. “With your experience, maybe I could create a position. What if I created something called ‘digital content producer,’” she said on her show on Wednesday, grinning a bit like the Cheshire cat. “You think that might be something you’d be interested in?

Shifrin, who is also a writer and photographer, looked stunned. “Are you doing a standup joke right now? I mean…”

“I’m a humorous person but you’re the standup. I’m a boss! And bosses can hire!”

The "I QUIT" Girl = Brilliant!

The "I QUIT" Girl = Brilliant!

Marina Shifrin

Absolutely brilliant, I was channel surfing today and saw Queen Latifah (who I think is absolutely stunning), and I had no idea about this video that went viral or that Q.L. was going to offer her a job!

Ummmm . . . hey, there, HOF. Where ya been?

12.36 million hits at this moment.

Here's the response video from her colleagues:

2.8 million hits since it was posted Tuesday.

Some should look at other posts before repeating the same one.

Mods ban Hof just for the sake of it.

Just kidding.

She is a cute girl and the boss can't dance , period.
