I totally agree. To me, 90% of everything that is on the radio in the past 30 years is pure crap, and that goes for pretty well all styles of music. One band that does keep me on my toes though is 'Red Hot Chili Peppers', they have a unique sound, are good musicians, and write tons of hits for a commercial market. They are different that anything that is out there with their sound of rock / funk / rap mixture. I give kudos to these guys.
