Any dog owner knows such drama...you should see the reactions and screams when stupid people see my two wolfhounds (one of the gentlest breeds in the world)!

I don't think they just wanted to play. They were treating the child like prey and were persistently aggressive even when an adult was hitting them.

And anyone with a child......who has been attacked by a dog before.......knows that any dog can be dangerous. It's worse when you don't know the dog. Keep the dog on the leash and under your control and their probably wouldn't be any issues. But a dog showing any sign of threat to my child.....I'll err on the side of my kid's safety. I think I posted around here that my son and I had an incident with a dog that was off its leash and behaved very aggressively. I'm sure the owners would have said something like "oh, he's just playing". Their dog would have been shot had I been carrying. I was that worried that my son or I were about to be attacked.


While you might be responsible with your dogs....not everyone is. And while your dogs might be pussycats.....not all are.

I used to breed and train German Shepard's as a result I have no fear of any dog.

I do how ever know that any dog not under control can snap.

They are beasts and often act accordingly.
