A U.S. woman and her boyfriend have been charged with trying to sell her eight-week-old grandson for $30,000.
Patty Bigbee, 45, and Lawrence Works, 42, were arrested in Daytona Beach, Florida, after they met with an agent posing as a buyer.
Bigbee was arrested after police mounted a sting operation as she and her Lawrence Works met with the buyer yesterday.

It is claimed Bigbee initially tried to sell the child for $75,000 but eventually struck a deal for $30,000.
According to Central Florida News, she was unaware the 'buyer' had tipped off cops who were lying in wait in an unmarked car nearby.
Police say Bigbee and Works had driven with the newborn child to meet the undercover buyer and handed him over after accepting $30,000 cash.
Detectives moved in once the baby was put safely in the back seat of the buyer's car.
'This transaction today was absolutely "take this baby, give us our money and go",' said Florida Department of Law Enforcement Agent Wayne Ivey.
'Not only were they attempting to go this route with the transaction, but who else would've been willing to buy that child?
'So, we're just really fortunate that the confidential source in this matter came to law enforcement and said, 'We need to take action on this'.'
Both Bigbee and Works were booked into Volusia County Jail.
Bigbee was booked on charges of illegal sale or surrender of a child and communication fraud, while her boyfriend is accused of being a principal to the illegal sale or surrender of a child.
The baby boy, whose mother is currently in jail for unrelated matters, is in the care of social services.

The list is long and it grows every day.

"... Thursday night around 7:42 police say they found 10-day-old Maggie May Fiddler unresponsive after being put on a full cycle in a washing machine.
...

The baby’s aunt, Rhonda Coshatt says she found the baby in the washing machine. However, police say the mother blames the aunt for the child’s death.

Maggie May, a newborn who didn’t have a fighting chance at life.

“She was ten days old, Maggie May,” says Coshatt."

I hate to read threads like this in the mornings. Not a good way to start the day. Thinking of how many cruel insensitive people are out there.

And there are lots of people who loves kids but cant have one. What a fair world!

WTF, is today mean bad threads on HUBGFE :???:. Put them both in jail for 20 years, end of case.

Jail, screw that! Take them out to the glades and shoot em both!

Fiddler should be put in a giant industrial-size washing machine with dirty laundry and the machine should run a complete 40 minute cleaning cycle.
