Too true, considering how many fought and died (mostly the poor) for freedom and the 'american' way of life, little did they know what they were actually creating and how the paper they wrote and signed, would be so perverted.

I believe the constitution was written so that the people would be in control of their destinies and put safeguards in place yet those in power ignore those safeguards.

I know our system isn't the worst, and a dictatorship is far worse, but when politicians start working for themselves as opposed to what is good for their constituents, then it has gone to hell......

I tell you, there's a revolution coming.......maybe not in our lifetimes, or our kids, but sometime.......

Much of the Constitution is there to protect citizens from government, but hey now we have the Patriot Act so who gives a shit about civil liberties?

Those real patriots all those years ago must be rolling in their graves at how wrong it's all gone.
