To review or not review

I recently visited an "independant" escort and had a fantastic session. In our conversation afterwards I found that she uses a "call/booking service". Out of curiosity, I did a little investigation and found that this service is actually a hidden agency, run by the same person/people that ran another agency (recently sold) that I prefer not to support due to some of their questionable practices.

So the question is this... do I write a review?

A review would give well deserved attention to a girl that provides a great service and could use the exposure. On the other hand, it also sends business to, and rewards the hidden agency, that I prefer not to deal with or promote.

What would you do?

It should be noted that any of my recently reviewed indys are truely independant.

Hmmm. You do pose an interesting dilemma. However, to me the use of a booking agency and her level of service are mutually exclusive.

Review her if you believe she was great and worthy of a review.

Afterward, you can revisit the question of whether or not you would like to go back. If you are uncomfortable with her use of an agency, then by all means pick someone else for your next encounter.

You would be doing so on matter of principle (sp?) not due to poor service. I would not mention her use of the booking service in the review, as I don't believe that has bearing on her level of service.

Although the lady is using a booking agent, that you consider to be undesirable, she deserves your kind words from having a positive experience.

Is it fair to the lady not to review her?

Is it Demi from Bliss?

I thought this was the whole point of review boards to share experiences.

You'd certainly think so, but I've come to be educated recently that in terms of actual posted comments and online discussions, % of posts related to reviews are by far outweighed in terms of volumes and importance by % of non-review type posts and discussions. Strange that, particularly for a site that's calls itself an "Escort Review Board", but there it is.

That said, the girl deserves a review for her troubles. It would appear no one is forcing her to use the booking service, so questionable practices of the underlying agency doesn't really seem to matter in this case as there's no real direct relationship between the two that could be suspect...but who knows

I would post the review. The lady deserves some good publicity if she provided you with a great experience.

I say go for it too Lou. If you enjoyed her and you think others might too, share your experience and the young lady might get some extra business out of it.

She may need the help for bookings as to be truly an Indy I think the lady needs to have good organizational skills which maybe she lacks at this point and time.

PLUS and most importantly; I know you hit in my neck of the woods and I am itching to know who it is.:whip:

.

I wouldn't review SP's that use Bell or Roger's as their phone providers because I don't like those phone companies .

I wish SP's would start posting who supplies their communications needs . My best experience's are with Telus girls . Some Primus ladies give excellent head butt their per minute charge is a little high .

I personally don't want to visit ladies that like to drink Coffee Time coffee. Shows lack of class!
Star Bucks or Second Cup ladies only for me!:)

I've been known to walk out if I see a Country Style cup on the dresser .

You could post the review of your encounter with this lady (especially if you believe that she deserves the praise and publicity), and include a note in your review re: your concerns about the booking agency she works with.

Unlike others, I do believe that those concerns are relevant to your review, especially if those "questionable practices" concerns the ways that the agency treat the ladies who work with them or their customers.

I for one care about the labor practices or environmental practices of the businesses I patronize, and those definitely inform my choices as a customer. I strongly believe that guys should care and be informed about relevant "questionable practices" of agencies.

Gen's comments make sense of course.

If the hidden 'agency' might pose some kind of risk to SPs in the future, a good review might help them to move since they have support of good fans like OP.

I'd like to hear the review about this gal too now that you've got us in suspense.

I'm not sure if I'd 'taint' the review together with a discussion of the agency. That might be a separate thread.

I agree with Bear. Reviewing the lady might put a few extra pennies in her purse allowinng her to think about going indy.

I agree. That is a personal preference of Lou's, and has no bearing on how well she operates as an SP. Tell the boys about her and her level of service. Leave your personal politics out of the review.

It is great that you are concerned about this agency and how they treat their ladies. However, the place to put that is not in her review. You can choose to exert your right to that preference when you decide whether or not to go back. But don't make her pay by bringing that piece of (practically irrelevant) information in her review.

Thank you but I might add that the 'questionable practices' may not have anything to do with the ladies but the johns instead for all we know.

Review Lou, do it, you know you want to. If you don't review it is more of a punishment to the lady, which you have already mentioned gave you very good service.
