@ Maurice Boscarelli, and all: An incorrect answer will disqualify a competitor from obtaining a kewpie doll in a given question, from this point forward.

One guess or confirmation, per person, per question, please and thanks.

Hmmm..........Changes the rules as we go I see, lol.

Seinfeld: What was Mulva's actual name?

SillyGirl said:

Correct! And SillyGirl receives her first kewpie doll from me here, but not the first kewpie doll she has ever received from me. Dolls and trolls earned to date should be posted sometime before 6 AM on Saturday.

The last time I posted a game with rules, no one played. One guess, per person, is standard fair play, for any trivia game where supplemental hints are not given. You get the doll for Sami; but no one is allowed to do that again.

Simplicity is the key and this time you done good.

What Your Show of Shows actor later went on to star in a sitcom living in a cave?

Just an example

The sitcom is It's About Time, a stupid Sherwood Schwartz show about astronauts who go back to cave man times. Imogene Coca played the wife of the guy you're talking about, but I never saw Your Show of Shows. I never google until after I post an answer, so my guess would be Sid Caesar.

I have all of the episodes of that show, but the quality is horrible, like from a 2nd generation EP VHS tape, left in the basement for thirty years.

You get a Troll for that answer................Imogene Coca also stared on Your Show of Shows

Sid was not in It's About Time it was Joe E. Ross who previously stared opposite Fred ( H. Munster ) Gwinn on Car 54

All of you guys missed the point of The Kosher Game. The referee had a huge advantage, so you were supposed to try to get him to break one of his own rules, to keep him from doing any further scoring, and you would all have gotten points from picking off the Johnny-come-latelys who join in an page four, and disqualify themselves with their first post.

It could have been epic, but you all let it reach page two. That was everyone's chance to pun away, and set honey pot traps for other people with carefully crafted drivel, and no one even tried to score.

That was probably it.

Bob

One thing I have learned over the years is not every thread is a winner.

You just try another one and enjoy.
After all we are here to inform and even entertain if we can.

Hell the Naked Post thread was so popular that I formed a LPC and bought it, for one dollar :biggrin2:

I didn't know Imogene Coca was on Your Show of Shows. I'm not that old. I knew she was on It's About Time. I guessed the rest.

I wasn't playing there, I was replying to you.

I would have passed on that one, because I didn't know the name of the old guy cavemen, married to Imogene on the show.

In my opinion, you should have used "actress" in your clue, because I was thinking you wanted the name of a guy.

If you want to ask questions, too, be my guest, but you're going to have to keep your own subscore for those ones, and give away your own trolls and kewpies.

Do you really want to give away the dolls you've thought and typed so hard to earn?

Actually Bob you are doing great with the questions.

Just wanted to point out that on occasion even the best of minds errs.

Makes ya human nothing less.

I post questions that I know the answers to, and verify details beforehand, if necessary, either online, or from my huge collection of digital TV, spread over four external drives, and about 5 Terabytes. I haven't seen a lot of it, but it's more valuable than the empty disk space. I don't want to want it later, and find it can no longer be found anywhere.

Since I'm not answering my own questions, it's not cheating to Wikipedia information before posting a question for other people.

It was the smart choice to delete the questions that have already been answered, because they are all quoted in the confirmations first. In the Comic Sans trivia thread somewhere else, they leave them up forever. One guy started answering questions from page 1, when they were on page 500. That shouldn't happen here.

Soap; What cameo role did Creator, Writer, and Exclusive Producer Susan Harris portray in a season one episode?

If you don't know the show, click the link. Read the part about the controversies. I was in my first year of college when this show started, and we used to watch it in a common room, with a lot of other people. That's the best way to watch a show that's really funny, and the worst way to watch one that isn't. It's still ahead of it's time.

No idea but a great show and gave Billy Crystal his start...........even if he wanted to forget it and credited SNL for that.
