Have enjoyed twitter the past few months. I have engaged with a number of sps that have led to me meeting them for the first time for great appointments. I have come to the conclusion to only meet Sps that I have met on twitter and they also actively follow me. If any sp don't think I am worthy to follow and read me on twitter then I think it is only fair that I don't support them in their business. Just wondering other people's experiences on twitter.

I've been on Twitter for a few years now. It's been pretty entertaining to have more and more members from the boards sign up and tweet their thoughts and images. I definitely think it's fantastic that HUBGFE has a unique and personable online presence on social media.

luton, thank you for following me and favouriting so many of my tweets. It is wonderful to have your personal input :wink2: and welcome to HUBGFE!

Amy I really need to see you again. Our schedules don't seem to match up. Hopefully we can find a convenient time within the next couple of weeks. You are a sweetheart. Cheers

Why are you asking this question?.

Just curious.

Very perseptive. Someone I thought was a friend as well as a very talented Sp let it be known she thought I was not worthy to follow. She might be right but it made me feel like a fool that she was using me.

Ouch!

1) She is NOT right
2) Better you know now than when you've further invested your time and focus

Hugs :kissed:

Ow. I feel your pain. I quite enjoy your Tweets. Now me, I post a lot of drivel.

Keep it cool and names not needed but do tell us the juicy details why this came about. Don't be shy, most of us are slow readers.

Prick for now I am going to be tight lipped.

Hi luton!

You're one of the select few special men that I follow on Twitter. :wink2:

luton, if it's any consolation, I've found that, with a few notable exceptions, the Twitterverse of client-provider interactions is mostly one of two things - cynical marketing, or meaningless drivel. Oh, and macho braggadocio. So, three things, I guess. ;) 90% bullshit in all cases. IfYouSeekAmy is one of those exceptions. Just my two cents.

I've found twitter to be an interesting addition to my work life for the past few months. It's hard to say sometimes if it's doing any good, but it's a pleasant game to figure out what to do to make the numbers go up.
I started liking it a lot more once I stopped thinking of it as marketing and started thinking of it as a platform for my personality for people who may have found me other ways.

I've been on twitter for a year or so and have become an addict. I use it mostly for animal causes so I don't get much interaction from alot of hobbyists as alot of the tweets are rather depressing and obviously non-sensual or sexy. I've tried to separate by opening a different account, one for animal causes, one for escorting, but they always connect-tweet to one another and no one seems to know why.
@Luton-sorry to hear about your situation, better you discovered that now though. Many in the business are sadly interested only in the $$ and or status and popularity and not a person's friendship, and alot of formed friendships, even many that seem solid are $$/status based, that's the nature of many, so I've discovered and on the other side, many guys are only friendly until the next "one" comes along, lol. That's why it's always better to think of yourself first, and do for you, when involved with people you meet in this profession, imo. Not something I'd say in general, but in these types of relationships, I think it best.

Twitter is a lot of fun! I love getting a chance to joke around with all kinds of people - whether it be "clients", other sexworkers, or even bot accounts. Such a great platform to connect with people from all over the globe!

Luton, don't take it too personally if someone doesn't enjoy your tweets - after all, it is a social media platform, and everyone uses it in completely different ways. I'm sure she wasn't trying to be cruel :)

Thanks for the kind words Reagan. Classy as always. Cheers
