Which was: you stating that I thought they were animals (I think) because they used suicide bombers and I said "it wasn't the fact that they used suicide bombers, it was what they targeted"....mistakenly I added in the fact that they forced innocents to wear bomb vests.....

So, to answer point blank: they are animals since they target innocent women and children (as well as men) with suicide bombers. BTW: something you probably aren't aware, the extremists have killed more of their countrymen than the coalition forces.....(can't recall whether they were civilians or civilians and combatants combined).

Anyone remember the scene from aliens II where the soldiers had to go into the den of aliens and the commander says: give all your ammunition to the sargent? Anyone else think that was insane? Well, that isn't any more insane than training men and women to be killers, say "risk your life everyday to try and help people who hate you", watch your buddies get blown up and maimed, watch captured soldiers beheaded on VIDEO but hey, you have to be nicey nice and be honorable and be "professional".....

For example:
In the "dark" ages, enemies storming the castles would throw dead bodies over the walls via catapult in order to spread disease. (yeah, that's respect for you).
In WWI they used bodies in lieu of sandbags (yeah, that's respect for you)
In WWII, and the series the Pacific is a prime example, accounts taken from actual memoires from soliders, one soldier was throwing stones into the head of a dead japanese soldier. And let's not forget the trophies taken by solders. Everything from ears, to knocking out gold teeth, etc.
In the taming of the west, native americans would scalp their victims then there was a bounty put on indian scalps.....
