Union Beats the Man in Ohio

Who care let them Yanks do what they want they will bankrupt in five years anyway.

The asshole tried to take away collective bargaining rights, looks good on him but he still has 3 years left in his mandate. The next test will be Wisconsin, hopefully the people send another strong message.

I'm a public service worker and I pay 50% of my benefits and the company pays the other 50%. When I go to the dentist I still have to pay the first 20% and I make $22.40 an hour, hardly a huge wage. I don't live the high life, I just wish the media and the politician would leave us alone!!!

You realize you are getting screwed compared to every other union employee in North America and more that 50% of the non-unionized ones if what you say is true.

Of course what Robin says is true. The public and the Conservative minded media keep complaining about over paid under worked government workers but I say walk a day in their shoes before flapping your gums. I don't care if it's a teacher, TTC worker, city worker etc... if it's such a great job the whiners should apply so they can live the life of Riley they portray these workers live!!!

CRA workers excluded, they are ruthless!!

It's true Train, I see those number every two week when I get my pay stub. What really ticks many of us off is we are so short staffed we are being begged to the point of being forced to do over-time while to the public they keep talking about lay-offs. It's all politics, it really is, the truth is somewhere in the middle but the general public only hears about taxes going up because of the government labour costs.

Not too many of us in my union would complain if they would offer us the status-quo with no raise for the next 3 years but instead they want roll backs and threats of lay-offs.
