US Border Services now searching Americans

I was reading this morning that US Border services will now demand passwords for social media to it's own citizens returning from outside the country. I guess I'm a little miffed that more people haven't blown a fuse over this. It seems like a certain portion of the populace of the USA are too brain dead to understand that the articles of the constitution. It's your RIGHT to return to your country.

I usually attend several hacker conferences in the United States. I will not be attending them until this witch hunt ends. I'm just a small person with no impact or power in the world, but I do have money and I can choose where to spend it. It won't be in the USA. The ironic part is visiting the USA for those conferences helps me to be a better forensics/hacker guy. It arms with the skills to make this world a better/safer place.

The MO of the Trump camp seems to be declare #FakeNews on anything that they disagree with even if it's accurate. The cynical side of me can't help but wonder if Trump is doing this because he knows one day the real truth will be revealed and he'll be able to claim "Fake News". And now Trump is backtracking on wiretapping yet he said exactly that. It's so absurd it's sad. I figure the GOP will figure out a way of getting rid of him. And blame it on someone else.

Probably many aren't miffed because they aren't aware of their rights and or perhaps there is just so much now one has to be concerned about. Many people are also easily intimidated by some authority figures, sometimes rightfully so, since some authority figures can be aggressive and manipulative.
