I have seen a few videos on this and here are my thoughts:

The officer should be charged with Kidnapping.
His abuse of power in the arrest went beyond his civil abilities and he illegally detained and removed this woman....The basic definition of KIDNAPPING.

He also attempted to violate the rights of the suspect he wanted the blood from.

Guess what Boys, Girls and Cristy....That is illegal.

That pretty much sums up who was right and who was wrong.

She does deserve compensation for her ordeal however. It will be interesting how this plays out going forward.

I think his point (not trying to speak for you Bosco) that the story would be lost in cries of racism and we couldn't look at the situation logically.


That (arresting) officer seems to have broken the law....he should be tried and punished accordingly. The laws are supposed to apply to everyone equally....being an officer is no excuse.

I read that this cop has two jobs!!
One as a police officer and the second one as an ambulance attendant.
I am under the impression that he was trying to draw the blood sample as the ambulance attendant
I have also read that he just got fired from this second job
It seems that the nurse at this moment in time has the complete support of the hospital, the other staff and the Mayor.
I wonder if that support will continue when the law suit gets filed.
