My wife would...she wants a breast reduction...I say NO, I love her breasts just the way they are:love:

Point out a woman... ANY woman, and I'm willing to bet, there's at least SOMETHING they would change about themselves if they could...

^^^ something they would change, yes, something they would go under the knife for? Not everyone......I mean hell, it's one thing to change your hair colour.......

You seem like you're fairly well off, if every woman wants to have surgery to change something I should think your wife would have had it by now....no?

So true CG....she says she wants to be noticed for her beauty and her brains....not her Boobs!:great:

I already know she has beauty and brains....so HELL YA that's the first thing I notice when she walks into the room, and I don't have to tell ya what I notice when she walks outta the room :bad::666:

I 100 % agree with you there CG.

I have actually had this conversation with many women and they all have something that needs fixing they think. Blame the media and culture of perfection I guess.

Was talking to a dancer one day, she was saying how she would be so happy if she just got her breasts a bit larger...i said really and then you would be happy right? well and maybe my nose is a bit big...aaarrrgh.

As for valentines gifts sorry no better suggestions than those you see hear. I tend to cop out with the traditional stuff.in different combinations, and dinner

You do realize that going to a plastic surgeon does not mean you need to go under any knife. There are tons of things that they do. Hair removal, skin tags or other problems with your skin, face or whatever. You need to do some research instead of just jumping in.

Not every woman goes to them for surgery.
The first thing guys think is boob job, well that is not the case anymore.

A lot of those other "issues" you're talking about could be handled by a dermatologist? Or a regular doctor? Or a laser hair removal clinic?

Here are the typical services for the average plastic surgeon. Notice how the majority of services are all SURGERIES???

Face lift (Standard & Mini)
Blepharoplasty (Eyelids)
Forehead Lift
Nose Reshaping
Otoplasty (Protruding Ears)
Lip Enhancement
Laser Skin Resurfacing (Cosmetic Wrinkle Treatment)
Endoscopic Plastic Surgery (Minimally Invasive Surgery)
Breast Augmentation (Enlargement)
Mastopexy (Breast Lift)
Breast Reduction
Breast Reconstruction
Gynecomastia (Male Breasts)
Liposuction (Ultrasonic & Tumescent)
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
Botox Injection for Wrinkles
Juvederm
Prevelle
Restylane
Fat Injection

Injectable fillers
Microdermabrasion

And for your info: my Doctor shares her office with a dermatologist and they do all the last ones (except for fat injection) so there is NO need to go to a plastic surgeon for those threatments.....I would also hazard a bet that the actual surgeon doesn't do botox, they have their on staff DERMATOLOGIST do it.......

Oh yeah, just for the record? Sure there is always something a woman would like to change but to actually go through with it? That's a whole 'nother ballgame.

See, that's like saying: If I had a million dollars I'd give you half.....well, come and talk to me when you've actually got the money.....

Oh and models, strippers and escorts don't count.....they are far from "the average woman".....(but if you use the sunshine girls as examples everyone's a model these days lol)

Oh and just for general edumucation:

Plastic Surgery:

: a branch of surgery concerned with the repair, restoration, or improvement of lost, injured, defective, or misshapen parts of the body chiefly by transfer of tissue
also : an operation performed for such a purpose

Now if "offhermeds" knows of some mystical magical way of transferring tissue without using a knife (or similar impliment) she's on her way to making billions......

Once again you are totally right I will make sure to tell My Doctor that he is in the wrong business with the other things he does. If I want something done right and with a professional doing it I go to somebody I trust. I would rather go to one place and get total treatment then to a nickle and dime store. Women are not like an engine of a care you screw it up you get a new engine.

Botox not surgery. also Mircodremabrasoin , fat injections too.But you know better than me.

Amaze your friends with this tidbit of information. :he:

Plastic surgery has nothing to do with plastic as we know it, as in synthetic polymer material.
The term "plastic" is from the Greek "plastikos" meaning to mold or shape.

I'm with you on this, CG.

No one is a bigger fan of boobies than I. But I wouldn't want my loved ones getting enhancements. They simply make it far too difficult to read mammograms clearly.

You would do well to actually READ....but then again, that is putting too much stress on your warped little mind.......

It all depends on what type and how big they go. I know of a couple of ladies who just had a small implant under the muscle and you couldn't tell. They didn't go porn star DD, just went from an A to a nice B. Since they're under the muscle, not in the breast itself, it shouldn't interfere with a mamogram. (since a mamogram only examines the breast itself, not the underlying muscle tissue).
