Produce and meat have reached ridiculous prices. The first increases were blamed on high oil prices and the transportation now it is because of the low oil prices and low Canadian dollar next will be? Any guesses?

Who asked for your opinion?.

I did,I asked for Madmans opinion:) vegans aren't crying....but the middle and lower classes are. We are all supposed to eat lots of vegetables regardless of being vegetarian, vegan or anything else. They are what keeps a person healthy along with lentils, beans, fruits, nuts and other food staples. Many people with low incomes now have no choice but unhealthy food optiosn if prices for fruits and veggies stay this high. We can live well without meat, but not veggies, that's a fact.

Drought in California, and messed up growing seasons in Canada causing lost crops.

Time for us all to leave the big cities and start living on farms again. Grow our own meat and veggies. :good:

With the price of veggies only going to increase, it's a good reason to swicth to an all-bacon diet. It lasts a long time, isn't subject to water droughts, and always tastes yummy. That's why McD's uses it :biggrin2:
