Venezuelan crowned transgender beauty queen in Thai contest

Beauty pageants for children freak me out. Honestly, seeing a little girl less than 10 years old sexualized with make up and outfits that are clearly adult in nature just makes me cringe. But hey! Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Look what happened to Honey Booboo, or whatever her name was. All those kiddie things are really just their mothers trying to overcompensate for their own dull, dreary (and usually fat) lives.

I used to watch reality TV shows about children's beauty pageants, and I'd say 95% of the parents were overweight and unattractive, many of them forcing their children to do something they always wanted to do themselves and were living out vicariously through them.

Most of the kids were either extremely stressed out and unhappy, or they turned into little prima donna's and spoiled brats.

On Mr Show with Bob and David, they had a sketch about prenatal beauty pageants, with a doctor applying makeup and false eyelashes to a fetus, with an amniocentesis needle. To pay for the procedures, the husband Bob Odenkirk, had to get extra jobs, like kissing the elephant's ass, at a circus.

She made hundreds of thousands of dollars from a reality show, until her mom started dating a convicted sex offender. She's not even ten, and she can already pay for her trailer and lot fees for the rest of her life. That's the new American Dream.

I wonder if her parents invested wisely while she was earning that kind of money? Hmmmmmm
