Finally took the Mrs. to Via Allegro. She's been bothering for months to take her there. Large place with two wooden burning ovens as it's main showcase. Decor is kind of 80's but kept clean. We had tuna tartar and a short looking pasta with duck, Delicious.
The large filet Chilean Sea bass was perfectly cooked and the ribs were to die for. Service was impeccable with an eye to all details. It was the first time I have ever seen a wine list that looked like the 10 commandments block. Huge book like wine list, I even saw a wine (600 ml) called Masseto going for $15,000.
Chose the Chablis 1er cru for $140 which I wasn't very impressed as it lacked balance and too acidity.
With tip and tax $375.00.
Worth the money.
