You think he'll win :banghead:

https://now.msn.com/now/0516-walmart-black-announcement.aspx

A black man is Wal-Mart for $1 million in damages, claiming he suffered emotional distress while he was shopping at a store in Washington Township, N.J. On March 14, 2010, a voice came over the PA system announcing: "Attention Wal-Mart customers:

All black people leave the store now." A manager quickly took control of the microphone and a 16-year-old boy was later arrested for the prank. Donnell Battie's lawyers claim the megastore was negligent and reckless in allowing the incident to occur, and that he suffered from a number of psychological disorders as a result.

His psychological disorders will stay with him till he gets money.

This belongs in the loser of the week thread.

He can sue of course but then again his lawyer really wants to settle before Walmart counter sues and asks for damages plus court costs.

He probably knew the kid and sent him in to announce it.

How about this one.

A Japanese education writer is angry enough to sue a porn star for not following him on Twitter after going to the lengths of getting multiple accounts to get the woman's attention.
Aoi Sora is a porn star who has over 333,000 followers on Twitter, according to MSNBC. However it's her response, or lack thereof, to one fan that has made the 28-year-old performer the defendant in a lawsuit.

both these cases are a prime example of just how fucked up society has become......there should be a law that states that any lawyer who takes on a frivolous lawsuit should immediately be disbarred....

i know they can't be judge and jury but they have to have some common sense.....seriously.

this reminds of the judge who sued a dry cleaner for 2 million dollars for ruining a pair of his pants...once in court, the presiding judge threw out the case......and this was a fucking JUDGE.....

Nah.... just make them pay costs as well. Double Jeopardy. Plaintiff AND Lawyer pay the costs.
In the states I'm pretty sure that would help with the deficit.

wow what a nasty prank, rightfully so the boy was arrested....did they say for what ? HATE CRIME? ...million dollars will hopefully help him forget it.

this should be a class action law suit, could you imagine if you are in Walmart with your kids ...all black ppl must leave!

damn you guys sure know how to hide your racism lmao

My childs father is Jamaican...you guys are starting to sound like my former landlady:sad:

Well I guess you should sue "Jackie the Jokeman", too Lisa, for telling about a store he worked in that had a "Schvoogie Buzzer".

And while you are doing that I'll counter sue all the black comedians and those guys in the movies that use the word "Cracker".

I'M GONNA BE RICH!!!!!!

lisa: we're not racists, we just see the insanity of suing walmart when they didn't do a damn thing...it was the kid (who was arrested) who should be sued...

for eg: you have some friends over for dinner...during dinner one of them leans out your window and shoots your landlady....should you or your guest be arrested? the guest right because it was he who committed the crime.....

that is no different than the walmart case.....

while we're on the subject, and please believe me i'm not saying this with any insinuations, but do you think that it might be the things you do that get you into trouble so much? I mean, you're constantly in battle with someone, the police, some pet shop, or whatever.....do you think maybe you're the cause of your own troubles?

I have never known anyone having so much trouble on a daily basis.....

tboy the kid was hired by Walmart - im guessing somebody checked out his background before he was allowed to use equipment that belonged to a Walmart store.

As far as your landlady/my guest shooting my landlady (BTW I live in a luxury condo now I have no complaints, no police visits in the past 2 years. and with the exception of that 1 year of landlord abuse I lived in a luxury condo for past 20 years...so whts ur point?)

if this happened at my former whacko address than it would be me arrested LMAO

Any yeah you are making assumptions, reason im talking about my former landlady now is because it is just now almost 2 years later im going to court cuz of the nasty hag.

Maybe I battle cuz I believe in a cause. Like when somebody takes my hard earned money and then shuts off vital services such as hot water, heat, AC, security....yeah you can not abuse me just because you dont like my black child or my black boyfriends or the fact that my chosen profession is prostitution (this bitch put her signature in the cops notebook under those racist statements)

dont talk shit you know nothing about, if you wanna fuck that hugly nasty...just ask I'll give you her address and u 2 can have tea in the backyard lol

this is a prime example of the point i was trying to make.
1) there is no cause here, i was just asking that have you ever considered that you might be part of the problem and you immediately go on the offensive. that in and of itself might be part of your problem
2) sorry, but you are always in a battle with someone....life's too short.....i remember not long ago you were ready to declare war on a pet store for taking down your puppy poster..
3) As bosco stated, the kid wasn't a walmart employee so maybe part of your problem is you immediately assume things that just aren't true and exacerbate the situation to defcon 4 for no reason.
4) not to drag the whole landlord thing up again but did you tell her you were a prostitute and would be working out of her home when you signed the lease? Did she say to you it was a no smoking apartment when you came to look at it? I know most if not every apartment openly states in their ad whether it is smoking or not, pets or not, etc......when i was looking for apartments the first thing i asked was if it was smoking or not....it's only common courtesy.....(but i bet that never occured to you)
