During a student event on campus, Reed's seminal song, "Take a Walk on the Wild Side" was broadcast, among other songs, pulled randomly from a playlist made by an executive of the Guelph Central Student Association.

The playlist's theme was made "with the intent of feeling like a road trip from the 70s and 80s."

The university must have gotten at least one complaint about Reed's song in the mix because the Guelph Central Student Association issued an apology on its Facebook page which has just been hidden.

When someone pulls the 'I'm offended' card, I just tell them "I don't have a supervisor. You have my permission to withhold sex. I insist that you so do".

Just because a wheel squeaks doesn't mean you have to grease it, unless you pull that same sort of crap on other people. I also always wondered why anyone would consider an insincere apology issued by one person on behalf of someone else to have any value whatsoever. A real apology should have an element of remorse, or, alternatively, cash, with some grovelling.
