There's only 2 within Toronto, both too far to save a dollar or two. The idea of a membership fee pisses me off as well. :grrrrrr:

I usually go to Loblaws instead.

Don't you find it funny when people drive all the way there to save a couple of dollars. Then forget it cost them more for the driving and the waiting :???:

Similar situation here. I can drive 15 miles to a Reservation and save on gas.
However unless I have a reason to be there or near, other than gas I get mine a mile from my house.

15 minutes driving not worth $10-15 saved per every five days. Over a period of a year it does add up. No?.

Easiest and cheapest way is to apply for a Canadian Tire Gas Advantage card. Use it to pay for everything you do so it always has a $1000.00 balance on it regardless if you pay it off once a month. The only negative side is that you must be able to fill up at Canadian Tire Gas bars. If this is convenient for you then you will always receive somewhere between 7 to 10 cents of the listed price at the pump. This works great for me since I have two CT gas bars within 1 km. of my home.
