Waterat invite on Cerb?

Did any of the rest of receive an invite to meet with waterat at Alexandria's restaurant? It sounds a hell of a lot like our DOB group, and just like us, he's even thinking of holding a meet at Alexandria's place. I've only seen a few of his messages before, anybody have any dealings with him before?

Gentlemen: I haven't met all of you but those I have met, it has been at the establishment identified above. The lovely 'Alexxandria' (she has had to drop her lyla handle for personal life/discretionary reasons and is keeping a low profile) could benefit from a brainstorming session to generate ideas for increasing the business at the restaurant - it should be way busier during the week than it is. In addition it would be fun to run our own 'sausage fest' lyla mini-social and have some good conversation and swap some stories and ideas - even some lies and exaggerations!
I know absolutely nothing about marketing, though I would make suggestions to improve the entrance and parking lot appearances - regardless the ideas are most helpful if they increase business.

I live quite close to the establishment and am available in the afternoons so I'm going to propose a 13:30 h business lunch on Thursday May 19. Hopefully that works for most of you.

I've never heard of the guy, nor did I get an invite. I agree the group format seems very similar to DOB, and even having lunch at Alexandra's place.

Seen his name in a few posts but do not really know enough to have an opinion not did I receive an invite. Too bad that Alex's place is not doing well, I found it had a bit of a "middle of nowhere" ness to it that you would not get any casual drive by traffic...which means people need to know it's there and make a spacial trip...people only do that if there is something extraordinary like amazing food or really hot servers.

It's not a surprise in some ways, as there's been several restaurants that have tried to make a go of business in that location before.

BTW, his message did say to forward this to other folks, so anybody else want to attend? We won't mention our own little group to anybody else there right now, but we can make it a secret DOB get together, sort of like a secret organization within a secret organization. He said Thursday at 1:30pm.

I am not really familiar with Waterat and did not receive the invite. Not the most convenient location for most of us. I remember it being the Red Coach or something like that back in the 80's. It was fairly popular then but there were less establishments at he time and not much night life in Kanata.

The cerb socials have been at this location recently but they have not been well attended and have basically ceased to be. Biggest issue has been a lack of 'providers' attending.

I too rec'd the invite. He asked me about Jessicas' "Brass Club" as what I thought was an interested hoobiest, but perhaps more as an "undercover agent". I cant go on Thursdays, unless it's raining, as I have a regular golf game every Weds and Thurs in summer...other days are available tho...

You think maybe he's an employee of Alexandria's, like one of the guys who manages or cooks at her place?

I have never seen or heard of this guy or know anything of this lady or the establishment. Is this perhaps the restaurant the DOB's meet in Kanata on a Friday afternoon last year in May?

If he works there or is a regular who knows Alexandra, maybe she told him, otherwise how would he know that a group of guys who dropped in had any link or interest in spas, mp's etc, much less be in a private group like DOB?
