LOL that reminds me of a commercial that used to play all the time when I was a kid. It was for one of those beauty kits that had the nail polisher, eyebrow plucker, trimmer, buffer, etc etc etc.

The tag line when the woman walked down the stairs all spruced up was:

"at times like this, you'll think the gift was really for you"....I never got that until I was about 20 lol then "BING" the light went off hahaha......

This Christmas I got a digital photo frame, a new set of cordless phones (since my kids wrecked yet another set), some clothes, ikea kitchen storage things and odds and ends. But for my birthday I got a new HD video camera. Our camera and video camera stopped working about a year ago and I could only take pictures of the kids with my cell phone (which isn't an i-phone or anything like that).
I'm SO excited to be able to record them again. I got my first video camera for Christmas 10 years ago just before my son was born and this is the first time I haven't been able to take video of them.
