English is my second language and grew up in Montreal. So some words I may not spell them correctly but spellcheck makes me feel like a know it all phony intellect :biggrin2:

FFS! For the love of God - In English, it's called 'Jeef Berky'. Get with the program, frenchie! <rolls eyes>

Don't really give a shit about that. It's the auto correct that drives me crazy.

I used an antiquated tool called a dictionary. Do people even have them anymore?

I used to have an amazing idiom dictionary that I looooooooved to pieces.

I like that spell-check makes my life a little bit easier when editing but I like to correct spelling myself and usually wind up adding words to my computer's dictionary.

As for devices, ughhhhh I abhor the auto-complete feature. It is never correct! The auto-correct feature has its days. Whenever I get frustrated and turn it off, I sound dumber than I am so I stick with it.

Beef Jerky, I can usually spot the people for whom English is a second language and I didn't with you. So kudos!

Agree with Amy. When you are texting in a rush and send it before double checking it, can be quite embarrassing.
