LOL, I've heard that before, especially with Indys. There's more work putting up ads, finding venues, booking the venues, screening. Wrong, perhaps you should take a look on sites like lyla, here, and other boards and take note of the join dates
of many sp's.I will say that some days it does feel like we are therapists more so than entertainers, but that is part of "an experience type date" which is not just about sex
It's about making another human being feel comfortable in a somewhat uncomfortable situation, making them feel appreciated and not judged, letting them know they are perfect the way they are. It's about creating an ambiance, presenting yourself at your best, physically and mentally and providing your chosen guest all amenities they'll require. Then you add in your talent , and hope that person gets just how much effort you took to TRY and make them feel better than and more appreciated than they have in a long time But before all that happens, I have to go through and sort all the emails to determine which ones are junk, and which ones are worthwhile responding to.Then I go through my bookings too determine ones that are legit and ones that are nonsense. Clear my phone of upteem texts, because most men ignore requests of no texting, then listen to voicemails, that range from silly to flattering and those you just can't understand.
AND....I also get to occasionally defend my self from lies, pathetic gossip and other foolishness posted online and spread verbally by some idiots, as some clients like to ask a lot of questions, about what they see and hear, discretion forgotten, at least it seems, when it comes to our privacy . I'll never understand those who talk about people they've never met, yet it happens often, in this business, sad to say.
ALSO...Take loads of pics to satisfy some who seemingly will never be satisfied, then wade through the comments made, of which, some are again, flattering, some stupid and some just silly.
THEN...Take videos because some think you're not who you represent in pics, lol, but even then, that isn't proof enough, they want you to email private ones or face time or skype, lol.
AND then.....advertise, advertise, advertise.... and deal with those who think prices are too high and those who question why prices are as they are and those who just like to kick tires and those who, well, I guess are just bored, lol
AND.. occasionally shield myself in public, because occasionally some idiots think it alright to approach you or call you by your sp name.
AND...then there is the continual rhetoric faced daily, placed upon us by the moral police, those who think themselves morally superior to those of us who choose this as a lifestyle or occupation, you know the types (Harper cronies, church hypocrites and other backward thinking fools) who've forgotten what intimacy is.
Finally after all that, I get to.....meet someone I mesh with, who is respectful, who has taken the time to read my website, who contacts me in the manner I request, who is discrete, sees the crap for what it is, writes nice comments and is appreciative for all we go through and returns for more fun.
That is what makes it worthwhile.
