Nope, not thyroid related. Some people have eye muscle structures that cause this effect: basically their eyes' resting position is like this, with the muscles naturally forming the wide-eyed appearance. Surgery can help in many cases, but there's nothing physically wrong with her.

Thyroid diseases can contribute, but they have other manifestations (as does Grave's, which is a typical example of hyperthyroidism) than just opthalmopathic (bulging eyes). In the OP, the eyes are not bulging so much as wide open. and most cases would be accompanied by reddening of the eye, which is not present here, along with dermatological manifestations (skin irritation).

Of course, diagnosing based on a video is not accurate, so I could be very wrong too!
