I got a call from an old friend that haven't heard of for for almost 10 years.

Made my day as he just called to say hi and didn't ask me to borrow money.

I took my Mom to lunch today, the Thanksgiving Festive Meal at Swiss Chalet. Mom doesn't get out much any more, and we really enjoyed our meals. Later in the day I went grocery shopping with my best friend--I have so much fun when we're together. Now I'm at work, doing a job I love. It doesn't pay especially well but who cares--it makes me happy.

Yeah, it was a good day. I smiled a lot. I enjoy life.
