I, personally, wouldn't order a guitar sight unseen, but that's in part because I like to get in my little meat hooks and play with it first. IMO, I have small hands, and as such I find I can have difficulty getting my hands around the neck of some guitars, especially those with an extended scales. Some of those 5 and 6 string bases have necks like telephone poles. That's why I opted for an Ibanes, with this thinner necks.

I am going for this because I have had two Carvin's in the past and both were fantastic. I never should have sold either of them. Ibanez can be a great make as well. I have owned the Roadster II, 540S, a Satriani and a Jem, all were great The only one I still have is the 540S, should have kept the Roadster, it might have been the best guitar I've ever owned, even more so that a Fender Strat or a Gibson Les Paul.
