My place in the country has a lot of raccoons. My (now gone, sadly) Doberman didn't like raccoons. They would fight on a regular basis, but the dog always won. Bigger mouth, strong jaws, and sharp teeth beat speed and nastiness every time, although a few chunks of Doberman were lost in the process.
