Recently for her birthday, I took my wife to an expensive hotel for the night (with a sauna), treated her to an opera and dinner, and the art gallery the next day (total cost about $450).

Another time I took her and the kids to Cuba for a week (total cost $6000). After sex I said we should do this more often... She said that well I guess you'll have to take me on vacation more often... I said that's an expensive way of getting sex... and she said, bless her heart, cheaper then if you had to pay for it... lol. I really had to struggle not to laugh. I decided I'd better not correct her misconception about the cost of sex; didn't want to seem too knowledgeable on the topic.

We had no car, no room to meet in, her house was out of the questions (her Dad threatened me once), and we had very limited financial resources so we volunteer together at a hospital to run a library for patients on the weekends from 1 to 4... and after we closed up the place at 4... made like bunnies in the back room... the only place with no security cameras...
It was not very comfortable, but the best we could find.
