What's the most expensive thing your dog or cat has destroyed?.

My dog is in the dog house (literally speaking). Just chewed my wife's $500 Manoli shoes. I told her she should have known better than to leave it within her reach.

Guess who is joining my dog in his doghouse?.

He destroyed my heart when he died. Too difficult to try again with a new one.

Cats aren't as bad as dogs when it comes to chewing things, but they have been known to scratch walls, doors and furniture which can be pretty damaging. And of course they also have this tendency to vomit on floors, carpets and rugs.

At the time I was driving an infiniti, and my rescue dog was with us only a year or so, I had left her and my other dog in the car for a few mins, yes mins, while I ran in Sobey's .When I came out she had dug a fist size hole in my drivers seat and had left some pretty nasty gouges on the side of my center console. The dealership had wanted nearly 2000.00 to fix the seat, luckily one of the guys there suggested another place to go to and they fixed it for a little under 300 or so and put me in touch with a guy who fixed the console for little less than 100. That little bugger has cost me lots, lol, but I love her dearly

Similar story: I left one of my dogs in my big Infiniti SUV, heard a gnawing sound while driving to Montreal, and stopped to find she had chewed one of the door pockets off attempting to get her ball I left in the pocket. It's still chewed to remind me not to be stoopid with her stuff!
