Actually calling someone a "goof" especially in prisons is the worst thing you can call an inmate, its the most derogatory thing you can call someone behind bars.
I thought "goof" was a rat? Least that's what I was told by someone who spent time in jail.....
I called him that once and he said "I'll let it go this time because you didn't know..." I said "well buddy, for those of us who AREN'T ex cons, goof is short for the cartoon character goofy...for those of us who AREN'T crimnals, that's what it means....so it ain't my problem, it's YOURS"....
The worst thing I was called? "Nothing" by a gf's mother.......she literally said, to my face "you are nothing because you're not greek".......can you believe the gaul of some people????
