Nope he is an uneducated racist. You can not categorize all blacks and hispanics the way he is.

Totally agree. But the opposite is the notion that everyone has equal life chances and we're all completely responsible for our own lot in life. Reality is always far more complicated than either of these extremes.

we all make decisions and at best it is 50/50 they will work out.

Hell if I knew then what I know now I would have majored in education and be one of the entrenched teachers making 100 grand a year for what works out to be part time work.
