Not wanting to Hi Jack a thread too much, but as stated, the Camaro SS in the early years is one of my ATFs. Something newer would be the Aston Martin D9

or

Since Tata bought Jaguar, they've gone off the mark.

Blackie? if you're going to keep riding my wavelength I'm gonna have to charge you a fare.....

not to make you jealous or anything but in my teens I worked in a car restoration shop where all we did was work on late '60s corvettes, mustangs, camaros etc. All the pony cars.

At one point we had: 66, 67 68 corvettes, 66 67 69 camaro SS, 67 mustang fastback, 65 mustang coupe. 71 vette with 454 (we were swapping the 454 auto to a 350 4 spd)

Part of the "deal" was that when we finished a car, we would get use of it for a saturday night. One time we finished 3 of them at once so the boss, my buddy, and I went off cruising yonge street on a hot summer night.....oh MAN I remember that.

One '67 vette we did a frame off restoration. It was going to be a show car so a lot of stuff was chromed (upper and lower control arms etc) and the frame filled and smoothed and painted a nice deep blue lacquer. So I came up with the bright idea that anywhere something chrome was bolted to something blue, the nut or bolt should be blue too. I spend 2 weeks sitting inside and around that frame painting fucking nuts and bolts.....

I was in Puerto Vallarta a few years ago and couldn't get used to walking past a VW dealer with brand new bugs on the lot...this was mid '90s......
