When using Spell check but you still screw up, auto correct fail?.

I've sent texts and some emails, do the usual "Auto spell check" then send it. Later on viewing it I realize of the dumb mistake. I also receive a few odd ones.

Post any unusual ones you have received or sent.

I came equipped with spell check when I was born. :biggrin2:

I built a new website recently and when I submitted it to a friend for approval, he told me it was the first time he'd never found a spelling mistake on a website. :yahoo:

I read voraciously as a kid and had a university level vocabulary by age 10. We used to have spelling bees to pass the time on days when the teacher was too lazy to teach. My turn came up and I knew how to spell the word correctly, but the whole class was glaring at me in silent warning not to end the game by spelling what would be the winning word and we'd all have to go back to regular school work, so I caved.

Probably the only time in my life I deliberately mis-spelled a word.

I find I'm making more mistakes as I get older though, because my brain sees what I should have typed, not what I actually typed.
