What's a phobia :unknw:

For non-Mexican women, it's fear of standing directly in front of Senor Gomes.

Just for the record: I'm a closet lesbian, but I'm definitely not Mexican.

Nothing, simply the sensation of falling, not to be confused with a fear of heights, which I don't have. I discovered this when I rode a roller coaster.

Same here in case you want to know.

Me too. It's a recurring dream I've had all my life - that I'm falling off a ladder or a scaffolding, in an elevator - just the sensation of falling.

I just had a flashback after I posted this - when I was put to sleep to have my tonsils removed as a child, I remember the horrible feeling of falling backwards into space as I passed out.

Basi or it is Baso phobia all one word- means fear of falling it is a phobia there are thousands in my DSM book. Not serios though unless it prevents you from a quality of life and can be treated.

Can you expand on this please.

What would you like to know I can find the symptoms and causes and treatments if you like. Usually for phobias like fear of falling just a bit of therapy like facing your fears over and over or more extreme would be talking about it, I am not a counselor though I am a mental health worker. It is easy to overcome as long as it is not an obsessive fear of falling that can lead to depression and even Angoraphobia and anxiety.

Sorry correct me it is Barophobia-fear of falling
