The media has pushed this agenda for decades.

Political correctness on the Right, and on the Left, are mirror images of each other. They both espouse one set of moral values, and vilify another. The position of the `center`moves towards one side or the other, like a pendulum. The extreme left position was recently exceeded; now it is moving in the other direction.

To put this in perspective, ideology that was once considered blasphemous is now funded and promoted by government. Some extremely conservative or radical philosophies have significantly changed their market share. One hundred years ago in Canada, porch people gossiped about births outside of marriage, anyone who did not attend a Church every Sunday, and performing anal sex on a man was a felony offense, punishable by life imprisonment. At the same time, Coca-cola contained real cocaine, and heroin as a pain reliever could be bought over the counter, at any pharmacist`s shop. I remember watching a scene from an episode of the Black and White `The Outer Limits`television show, where a businessman was mixing a martini first thing in the morning, before going to work. That still happens, of course, but not on a network television show!

They see themselves as African American and a lot of white Americans dont exactly use that term either

@ Primo: Anyone who primarily identifies themselves as part of a group, as opposed to as an individual, will not hold my interest long. Invariably, they will ascribe virtues to themselves, present in other similar individuals, but probably lacking in themselves. People who are unique interest me; those who are one of a type do not, for long.
