People are complaining but I was under the impression that pigs can be as clean as dogs and often smarter. I really don' think that it should be treated any differently than a support dog (as long as all of the training and certificates, etc. are legit). If a support dog acted up, it would probably have to be removed.

Now, where does this play into the RIGHTS argument?

If a Muslim passenger has a religious issue with the special needs of an individual with a medical condition that requires a support animal, who has to suck it up? Do medical "rights" trump religious "rights"?

Yes and no......Freedom of religion does not extend to imposing your beliefs on others.
Same holds true to medical accommodations they are made when believed to be reasonable.
