dobs have a bad rap because they've been used as guard dogs....most that have been kept as pets are pretty good dogs, that one showed a lot of restraint with the kitten...i thought it was done for when he grabbed it around the body.....I think I saw a scene like that in a movie....a little shizh tzu or something was bothering a doberman incessantly....so the dobie just reached over, grabbed the POS yap factory around the body, gave it a good shake and then let it go...the yapper went running off into the distance and the dobie lay back down and went to sleep lol.....

Funny story.

Dobermans do tend to be a one owner pet but I did know a family that had two and was let ran freely around the kids. Mind you the mother always had a close eye on them.
