When I was younger going to the Zoo was something my family and friends would look forward to. Today's generation is too busy with their Tech stuff now days to even talk about it. I don't hear much talk about it like the old days.
The new Chinese Pandas may change that perception or would it be a waste of money. The zoos think it can generate them $10 million in yearly tickets, not sure about those numbers being correct.

The Toronto Zoo could soon be getting a couple of cute, cuddly, and very expensive new additions. Officials have negotiated a deal with Beijing to bring a pair of Chinese giant pandas to three of Canada’s zoos for a total of 15 years, beginning in 2012.
Toronto’s zoo, along with zoos in Quebec and Calgary will each be welcoming the bears for five years each. These pandas certainly don’t come cheap - City councilor Giorgio Mammolitti says Toronto is currently looking for sponsors to help cover the $1 million annual fee, with another $10 million to build the enclosure. The total price tag is being pegged at around $20 million.
