Don't touch their pens/ pencils and scotch tape, all suck. But for the value, plates, glasses etc... :good:

[h=1]Dollarama income jumps 29 per cent[/h][h=2]Strong Q4 results mean a 12.5 per cent increase in dividend to shareholders[/h]
MONTREAL — Dollarama Inc. (TSX:DOL) is raising its dividend by 12.5 per cent, to nine cents per share. The increased payout to shareholders was announced with financial results that showed Dollarama’s net income for the fourth quarter was $100.3 million or 76 cents per diluted share, up about 29 per cent from last year. Sales increased by 14.9 per cent to $669.1 million.

Bought a set of 5 square white plates, water and wine glasses.

What a steal.

A new Dollar store just opened up in my neighbourhood, can't wait to go check out their inventory! :good:

I only buy Condoms, Crayons and fine Jewlery at Dollar stores. Oh and flashlight batteries, black nylon combs, chloroform for my dates, Halloween decorations, toe nail clippers, and my white cotton Y-Front underwear.

You forgot Christmas lights.

They had great buys when they were actually a dollar store. Now items that were a dollar have been pushed up to $1.50 and up. They seem to be on track to become a low selection alternative to Walmart. They greed is pushing them out of their market and into the path of Walmart/No-frills.

I'll shop where I know I can get a decent deal. Some call me cheap, others miser I just think of myself as frugal.

I bought 2 helium filled happy birthday balloons without looking at the price. It was $2.75 each, I gave it back.

I think anyone with kids and those crazy school projects shops there. Plus who can resist cheap gift bags at Christmas :)

I saw someone buying salad dressing there. Not sure why but it seemed kinda strange to me.

I was gonna post a warning about not buying food items or products like toothpaste at Dollar Stores. Much of their merchandise is spoiled, expired stock that's been rejected by other businesses. Many products are manufactured overseas where they allow toxins that are banned in North America, or kept in conditions that cause the product to spoil, but they sell it anyway.
