I would make that assumption about any work place, and rightly so. You've got a career suicide wish if you're rooting around a sexually explicit website on a company computer. Not an IT guy, but I bet that even if you use incognito browsing, you're still leaving a trail through the company portal. Which can easily come back to bite you in the ass.

No company will fire a worker for "happening upon" a sex site by accident on a rare occasion or two, but if they can prove you've been spending great gobs of time "drilling down" into the website, maybe even having an alter-ID to register and take part in discussions . . . well, good luck defending yourself on the charges of wasting company time, let alone all the allegations of unsavoury behaviour that will go along with whatever else they charge you with when turfing you out the door.
